Facebook just released their list of the 10 stories that people talked about the most on their site this year, and believe it or not, NO fake news made it.  Then again . . . neither did PRINCE, so who knows what the hell was going on.

 

Here are the 10 stories that got the most people around the world talking on Facebook in 2016 . . .

 

 

1.  The United States presidential election.

 

2.  Brazil’s president getting impeached in August.

 

3.  “Pokemon Go”.

 

4.  Black Lives Matter.

 

5.  The Philippines presidential election.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, everyone will be rolling out their ‘Best of 2016′ lists . . . and this year, “Rolling Stone” is up first with their rundown of ‘The 50 Best Albums of the Year.’  Here’s the Top 20 . . .

Of course, there’s still a month left in 2016, so they jumped the gun a little.  It’s unclear how many albums they were able to hear that aren’t out yet . . . other than the new Stones album, which is on their list. That said, there aren’t many high profile albums set to come out over the next month.  John Legend and Childish Gambino have albums coming this week,   and Neil Young is releasing one next week.

Yesterday was the fifth anniversary of the day CARLY RAE JEPSEN first subjected the world to “Call Me Maybe”.  So in honor of that, the “New York Daily News” threw together a list of the catchiest, most annoying songs ever recorded.  Here are the ones they came up with, in no particular order.

2.  Jay Z, $53.5 million

4.  Drake, $38.5 million

Tyrese is on top of the world lately, scoring his first #1 on the Billboard charts with his new album ‘Black Rose’. It’s been 17 yrs since the singer/actor debut on the charts, and he wants to save R&B music. In an open letter on Facebook, Tyrese states; “How is it possible that urban radio plays Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake and Sam Smith ( When they release R&B Soul records and when we’re singing in the EXACT same genre, WE don’t get ANY love on the other side…??” He also says;  ‪#‎SHAME‬ ft Jennifer Hudson needs to be HEARD by people ALL AROUND the WORLD!!!!
