There’s more of a re-gifting EPIDEMIC going around than we realized.
According to a new survey, 52% of people will re-gift something this Christmas. That means a MAJORITY of us are passing on a gift we didn’t like to someone else. Wow. Here are the top 10 things people re-gift . . .
Here are five tips for transporting a Christmas tree . . .
1. Wrap it in a blanket or a sheet before you put it on your car. Or have the salesman wrap it in netting, and put a blanket underneath it, so it doesn’t scratch the top of your car.
2. When you put it on your car, make sure the trunk is facing forward. The wind can damage the branches and knock a bunch of the needles off if you do it the other way. And make sure you go trunk-first when you bring it through your front door too.
3. Tie it down with THREE ropes or bungee cords, not two. One in the back . . . one in the middle . . . and one over the trunk in the front. And loop that one around the trunk at least once before you tie it down.
4. If you don’t have a roof rack, open the doors and loop the rope through the car to tie it down. If you just run it through the windows, you won’t be able to open the doors to get into your car. (Here’s a quick video that shows you how to do it.)
