OUTKAST finally reunited earlier this year after an eight-year hiatus . . . but now, ANDRE 3000 is thinking about hanging it up FOR GOOD within the next year. Say it aint so! He tells the “New York Times”, quote, “I remember, at like 25, saying, ‘I don’t want to be a 40-year-old rapper.’  I’m 39 now, and I’m still standing by that.  I’m such a fan that I don’t want to infiltrate it with old blood.” It remains to be seen if he’ll actually follow through.  A lot of rappers say stuff like this . . . only to keep on going, or go in and out of retirement.  In fact, elsewhere in the interview, Andre talks like he has all the time in the world . . . saying he plans on releasing new music, but doesn’t want to rush anything. Keep you posted!
